I was inspired by a Lego movie test shot and wanted to try it.

 The solution is simple. First I converted water, pyro sim and particle into a polygon. Then I put uniform Gap points into it polygon. To get the uniform gap points, I can use either pointfromvolume node or vdbvisualizetree node. But vdbvisualizetree node is more effective because It creates points around only surface. After, I copied lego pieces to points becaue points wouldn't be that much, copy node is more effective than point instancing.  At first, it's wate sim.

 This concept applies to pyro sim and particles as well as water sim. Change to a polygon, and put uniform Gap points in the polygon. Temperature value in pyro, life value in particles are used for making color.

 The house, car, concert venue and ad-balloon's body are Sketchup or in LDD file format. These were used in Houdini through twice or thrice converting format. You can make Lego blocks using LDD program.

Converted FBX files are needed to separate each piece. I used a repeated pattern in node names.

 Up to here, it's  end of technical side. Again, the solution is very simple. For now, camera setting and Lego concept. I tested a lot of versions and below are two of them.

 Lastly, I applied variable codecs and render tests to make the Lego concept.
