1. Common Ocean Asset RND
In this project called Taekyeong-ryun 2, there were more than 100 pieces of sea work. I was thinking about how to make it easier to do it, and finally I figured out if I set up the ocean based on the camera like a flashlight, it would be much more effective.
As a result, I was able to finish 57 shots in about 6 weeks, except for the RND period, and share my set-up with my team to shorten the project duration.
First, I thought about how to make a trapezoidal grid.
I have found a way to make things faster and with the least amount of time. (grid + lattice)
The information you need is only a camera. (The sea is set to zero by the y-axis)
1. Set the grid by camera
2. Adjust grid length and resolution by distance
3. Apply Ocean Wave and Create Horizontal Lines
4. Detailed work ( Grid movement and rotation, angulation )
5. Removing Patterns
